Sangoma is seeking a skilled Salesforce developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and improving existing Salesforce applications and ensuring that they are performing at optimal levels.
Your Role:
- Developing, customizing, and configuring Salesforce applications to meet business needs.
- Building custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Creating and managing custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, and approval processes.
- Building and maintaining integrations between Salesforce and other applications, such as marketing automation or accounting systems.
- Managing user accounts, roles, and profiles, and ensuring appropriate security and access controls are in place.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Salesforce applications and integrations
- Maintaining documentation of Salesforce applications, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Providing technical support and training to Salesforce users.
- Staying up-to-date on Salesforce releases and new features, and recommending upgrades and improvements.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business needs and recommend solutions.
- Reading logs for debugging problems with Flows, Apex Classes/Triggers, or another automation process.
Your Background:
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with programming languages such as Apex, Java, or C# and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Salesforce Lightning and Software Development experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, or Bulk APIs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Salesforce Developer or Administrator certification is a plus.
