Job Title: FP&A Manager

Role Overview

As an FP&A Manager at Alight, you will lead financial planning and analysis for multiple business units, driving strategic insights and enabling data-informed decisions. You will manage a team of analysts and collaborate closely with business and finance leaders to ensure financial health, agility, and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnering
    • Collaborate with business unit and finance leaders to assess risks, identify opportunities, and align financial goals.
    • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decisions.
  • Financial Reporting & Forecasting
    • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
    • Drive rolling forecasts and scenario planning to adapt to dynamic market conditions.
    • Perform variance analysis across actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Data-Driven Analysis
    • Leverage advanced analytics and financial modeling to evaluate operational and commercial performance.
    • Use predictive tools to anticipate trends and guide proactive decision-making.
  • Process Optimization
    • Champion automation and dashboarding tools to streamline reporting and reduce manual effort.
    • Continuously improve FP&A processes and reporting frameworks.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Ad Hoc Support
    • Deliver financial insights to support leadership decisions, business reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.
    • Assist leadership with quick-turn analyses, data requests, and executive-ready materials as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    CA/CWA/CIMA/ACCA or MBA in Finance/M.Com
  • Experience:
    12+ years total experience, with exp in in FP&A. Experience in outsourcing or professional services is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with Workday, Adaptive Insights, and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
    • Familiarity with AI-driven forecasting and scenario modeling tools is advantageous
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
