We are looking for a Team Lead to join our production team in the US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of project managers and overseeing the entire life cycle of content service projects in a portfolio. They must ensure that customer expectations regarding turnaround time, quality, and price are met, while also optimizing profit margins. Additionally, the Team Lead will provide day-to-day training, mentoring, and capacity management for the project management team.
Requirements
Responsibilites:
- Responsible for service execution including compliance to deadlines, standards/methodology, budget and margin optimization, quality standards, status reporting.
- Responsible for direct reports, providing day-to-day training, proactive mentoring, and capacity management of the project managers.
- Responsible for customer order setup, quotes, and scheduling (per defined thresholds, collaborating with Account Management for complex quotes and those requiring validation).
- Participate in revenue forecasting for team, with input coming from team members, sales and account management.
- Responsible for customer feedback, entry of CAPA's and completion of investigations.
- Owns collaboration with Resource Management, linguists, technical leads on resourcing and query management.
- Customer communication and ownership, as well as internal communication with direct reports and across departments.
- Collaborating with Account Management to define new processes and to strategize on process and tool optimization for customers.
- Responsible for margin optimization, including both internal and external costs, working with Resource Management as needed to support these efforts.
- Ensure linguistic material, such as Translation Memory, glossaries, and style guides are consistently updated and delivered per SLA's.
- Participate in the pre-sales activities and prepare supporting documentation.
- Participate in quality audits, recognize opportunities for improvement and implement the changes as needed.
- Working with Program and Account Manager to onboard new clients.
Bachelor’s Degree in Translation or other degree or equivalent work experience
5-7 years of practical experience in project management, especially in coordinating language service projects.
2-3 years managing people in the localization industry.
Extensive experience in customer interactions.
Excellent Analytical Skills
IT Knowledge of MS Office & CAT Tools

Salary base range for this position is between $65K to $75K, dependent upon experience and physical location. This position is eligible for variable compensation in addition to the base salary.
