@yolwinpariaton
I design data-driven public policies using econometrics, machine learning, and impact evaluation.
What I'm looking for
I'm applying machine learning and econometrics to development challenges through work with UN ECLAC and LSE. At UN ECLAC, I'm developing an econometric model to estimate the opportunity costs of urban vacancy across Latin American cities, creating evidence-based tools for land policy and urban planning.
Over more than six years in Peru's public sector, I designed national higher-education policy frameworks affecting more than 400,000 students, including financial instruments for students and universities during the COVID-19 pandemic. I bring experience in impact evaluation, causal inference, data analysis, and multi-stakeholder coordination to policy research and international development work.
