What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that values creativity and collaboration, where I can contribute to impactful design projects and grow my skills in a supportive environment.

As a dedicated UX/UI designer, I have honed my skills through a combination of education and hands-on experience. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Design with a major in Interaction Design at Emily Carr University of Arts, I have developed a strong foundation in design principles and user experience strategies. My role as a Design Lead at Empowered Futures allowed me to collaborate with cross-functional teams, translating brand images into cohesive design elements while ensuring timely project deliverables.

In my previous position at Vancouver PK Ministry, I led a team of volunteer designers, conducting thorough research to inform our design process. My ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members has been instrumental in identifying user needs and enhancing design cohesion. I am proficient in industry-standard tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, which I utilize to create visually compelling designs and high-quality prototypes.

Beyond my design work, I have also taken on leadership roles, such as Assistant Manager at Reading Gate, where I demonstrated strong organizational skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. My diverse experiences have equipped me with the empathy and communication skills necessary to understand and address user needs effectively.
