I’m a Medical Billing Specialist with a strong clinical foundation as a Licensed Physiotherapist, which helps me document rehabilitation services accurately and code physiotherapy procedures with confidence. I focus on clear, compliant communication between clinical teams and billing workflows.

In my current role, I process and submit 150+ insurance claims daily using AdvancedMD, achieving a 97% first-pass claim acceptance rate. I verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and prior authorizations before billing, and I appeal denied claims to recover an average of $18,000/month in previously denied revenue.

I’m proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding for musculoskeletal and rehabilitation services, including modifier usage and E&M coding. I also generate and analyze A/R aging reports to reduce outstanding balances, while ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation and adherence to CMS and AMA standards.
