I’m a results-oriented Data Engineer and Business Intelligence Analyst focused on designing scalable data pipelines and delivering actionable insights. I translate complex data into strategic business outcomes through ETL, predictive analytics, and close stakeholder collaboration.

In my current role, I direct BI strategy and the implementation of a Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence—centralising and standardising analytics practices across the organization. I leverage Power BI to join and analyse multi-source datasets, build advanced data models, and author dashboards using DAX and paginated reporting.

I also build and automate end-to-end data workflows using Pentaho PDI, Talend, Python, and Power Automate. I’ve implemented and overseen ETL processes, performed data profiling/validation/reconciliation for consistency, and aligned data governance policies with POPIA to maintain high data quality standards.

Across roles, I’ve delivered machine learning models in R to predict sales outcomes and churn risk, and enabled retention and upsell strategies via predictive customer segmentation. I bring a strong analytical and operational mindset—authoring APIs and automation scripts, coordinating insight delivery, and ensuring reliable reporting schedules with SLA compliance.
