At The AIDS Support Organisation (TASO) Soroti Centre of Excellence, I coordinate medical services, support clinical care, and help plan medical work and supplies. I also coordinate continuous medical education for staff.
As Project Epidemiologist for TASO’s Soroti Regional project, I supported district teams on disease surveillance and COVID-19 vaccination. The project increased regional vaccination uptake from 0% to 65% through sensitization, technical and logistical support, and stronger data management.
My work has also included HIV/TB quality improvement and operational research at TASO, and care and treatment support across Kumi, Ngora, and Bukedea with Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation, Uganda. I’m interested in public health research and implementation science, particularly adolescent HIV/TB care and integrated management of non-communicable diseases among people living with HIV.
