What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver compassionate, evidence-based clinical care, strengthen infection prevention and audit/quality work, and contribute to protocol-driven research with strong mentorship and multidisciplinary teamwork.

I’m a highly motivated Medical Officer with experience across diverse healthcare settings. I focus on patient-centered care, developing care plans, and delivering quality care in line with physician orders.

In my current role at C-Care Hospital (Mukono), I handle diagnosis, review, and treatment of medical and surgical conditions. I run routine ward rounds and surgical procedures, support OPDs and special clinics (DM and HTN), provide patient counseling, and ensure IPC is practiced at the facility.

Previously, as a Medical Officer at Kitgum General Hospital Private Wing, I provided diagnosis, review, treatment, and surgical care, while also coaching, mentoring, and guiding nursing and clinical students. I organized and participated in CMEs/CPDs, supported TB/MDR TB and ART-focused attachments, conducted clinical and mortality audits, and developed and implemented quality improvement projects for the ward.

I’ve also strengthened my clinical-research capability as a Study Medical Officer at the Makerere University College of Health Science (Kitgum research site). I work with the Research Coordinator and PI to ensure site activities follow protocol and SOPs, manage accurate completion of Clinical Report Forms, screen and interview children and families, and perform history taking and physical examinations as required.
