@bennetjosephkizito
Senior Systems and Information manager driving data quality and evidence for health programs.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Systems and Information manager with a wide range of experience in Data Management, Systems Analysis and Development, and Programme monitoring and Evaluation. I’m comfortable working under minimal supervision, leading teams, and delivering timely, high-quality results.
As Director Monitoring, Evaluation Adaptation and Learning (Aug 2020 to Sept 2024) for a USAID Local Partners Health Services Project in the Ankole Region, I designed and implemented the project’s M&E system: performance indicators, annual targets, monitoring progress, and writing quarterly and annual reports. I also led baseline study work for key indicators, developed a quality improvement system to strengthen data quality, and provided technical inputs that shaped program decisions and future direction.
Previously, I served as Senior Technical Advisor, M&E at TASO (1st October 2017-11th August 2020), where I developed M&E frameworks, supervised data collection and analysis, and provided technical mentorship across TASO sites. Before that, I led as TASO Branch Manager overseeing HIV activities, site-level planning and budgeting, reporting quality, human resources support, and advocacy and partnerships, and I also managed TASO-wide information systems as Programme Officer—Information Management.
My background also includes research and data roles such as Market research, opinion polls, and KAPs survey design, giving me a strong evidence-building mindset. I’ve built my practice on leadership, financial management, conflict resolution, and effective reporting, and I’ve trained in areas like Finance for non Finance managers, Human Resources management, and Effective leadership—always dedicated to maintaining high quality standards and timely deliverables.
