What I'm looking for

I’m seeking criminal justice research and public policy roles where I can turn crime and justice datasets into evidence-based briefs, policy recommendations, and stakeholder presentations within a strong ethics and safeguarding culture.

I’m an accomplished Criminology professional with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s degree from Loughborough University. My training combines criminological theory, law, and empirical research, and I bring a highly analytical, ethically grounded approach to crime prevention and justice reform.

As a Research Analyst – Criminal Justice & Public Policy at Policy Exchange, I conducted qualitative and quantitative research on crime trends, sentencing, and justice reform. I analyzed national crime datasets to support policy recommendations and drafted research reports, policy briefs, and stakeholder presentations.

Previously, as a Criminal Justice Programme Officer at Catch22, I helped manage rehabilitation and resettlement programmes for justice-involved individuals. I prepared case documentation, risk assessments, and progress reports, and collaborated with probation services, social workers, and community organisations to support safeguarding and reintegration.

I also build rigor through community and academic work—volunteering with the Metropolitan Police Service Community Engagement Unit and serving as an Academic Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge. In parallel, my academic research and my current dissertation focus on evaluating policing strategies and crime reduction outcomes, using mixed-method, policy-relevant analysis.
