At St. Matia Mulumba Mission Hospital, I collected and compiled departmental workload data for routine reporting and entered and verified health data in the KHIS aggregate system and other digital health information systems.
I also checked admissions, discharges and transfers using electronic hospital systems, and traced, retrieved and returned patient files while maintaining accurate, confidential records.
At Embu Level 5 Hospital and Kiandutu Health Centre, I managed or supported the organization of patient records and helped healthcare professionals access patient information in a timely way.
At Thika Level 5 Hospital, I conducted HIV testing and provided pre- and post-test counselling. I hold certificates in HIV Testing and Counselling and Case-Based Surveillance, and I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Records and Information Management at Mount Kenya University.
