I’m a dedicated Health Records and Information Management student awaiting graduation, and I’m passionate about turning accurate health data into better decisions. Through my coursework and hands-on practice, I’ve built a strong foundation in health information systems, medical records management, and health data analysis.

In my Health Records Attaché roles, I registered patients and maintained accurate demographic information while managing medical records for proper filing and retrieval. I supported electronic health records management, performed data entry with verification and cleaning to improve data quality, and assisted in medical coding and disease classification processes, including ICD coding principles.

I also focused on documentation quality and confidentiality—verifying completeness and accuracy of medical documentation, maintaining security of patient health information, and supporting health information quality assurance activities. I contributed to preparing health statistics and departmental reports, helping support service delivery through effective information management.

Beyond clinical attachment, my undergraduate research explored “Barriers to Accessibility of Primary Healthcare through the Social Health Authority (SHA)” among residents of Nkomo Ward, Meru County. I developed data collection tools, managed quantitative data, and conducted data entry, cleaning, and analysis using SPSS—then generated tables, charts, and data visualizations and presented findings.
