I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 10+ years in software engineering and 7+ years focused on backend systems. I build reliable backend services for regulated and high-load environments, with an emphasis on idempotency, data consistency, and maintainable service architecture.

I specialize in backend architecture using Node.js and TypeScript, with frameworks and tooling like NestJS, Koa, REST/GraphQL APIs, and WebSockets/gRPC. My work centers on production-ready reliability—safe retries, timeouts, failure handling, structured logging, observability, and incident analysis.

Most recently, I designed and developed backend services for an ELD-compatible mobile platform aligned with FMCSA requirements, implementing idempotent flows for driver logs, HOS events, inspections, and compliance workflows. Prior to that, I delivered backend services for a high-load distributed platform, improving service-to-service communication reliability, adding caching strategies across REST and GraphQL, and automating deployments with Docker and GitHub CI.

I’ve also led backend work for a mobile “time capsule” application, defined backend architecture and API contracts from scratch, and mentored engineers through technical interviews and code reviews.
