I build scalable Go backend systems—event-driven microservices with strong observability.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior Golang Backend Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience building distributed systems. I specialize in launching scalable high-load systems from scratch and scaling existing platforms, owning end-to-end development and architectural decision-making with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and observability.
Across my roles, I’ve designed event-driven architectures and microservices that integrate synchronous and asynchronous workflows. I’ve delivered production improvements like reducing integration complexity and accelerating onboarding in a blockchain Digital Asset Platform, and building configuration-driven marketing and campaign systems that shift control to business teams.
I also lead migrations and modernization—such as a full-scale move from Java/Python/C++ to Go for unified maintenance, and implementing asynchronous notification pipelines using Kafka and Kubernetes to improve fault tolerance under peak loads. I bring strong engineering discipline through testing (including integration/mocks) and practical observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Sentry.

Backend Developer
Tochka JSC
Dec 2023 - Oct 2025 (1 year 10 months)
Evolved the customer loyalty platform by moving promo code management from code to configuration, eliminating developer dependency and speeding campaign changes. Integrated an A/B testing platform and delivered 10+ marketing campaigns, improving data-driven product decisions.
Golang Backend Developer
One Planet Club
Mar 2021 - Dec 2023 (2 years 9 months)
Designed and launched a bonus system from scratch (12 bonus types), enabling rollout-ready and scalable campaign incentives. Led a full migration of the 100% codebase from Java/Python/C++ to Go and built a 3-microservice notification system integrated with Firebase and Twilio.
Java Backend Developer
Sberbank PJSC
Sep 2019 - Mar 2021 (1 year 6 months)
Built a distributed notification system (5 services) and transitioned communication to an asynchronous Kafka model to improve scalability and resilience under peak loads. Improved performance by ~15%, raised test coverage to 80%, integrated SonarQube, and implemented RBAC for fine-grained access control.
Backend Developer
Storiesoft LLC
Mar 2018 - Sep 2019 (1 year 6 months)
Developed a fintech fund management platform (deposits/withdrawals, currency exchange, P2P transfers, 2FA) integrating payment providers and external REST/JSON-RPC APIs with idempotent processing. Built an embedded network monitoring app under constrained resources (9 MB RAM / 800 MHz CPU) and improved availability using Redis caching and denormalization.
