What I'm looking for

Remote role with an overseas employer. I am based in Buenos Aires (UTC-3), work across time zones and set my hours around the team. Owning supply chain, inventory or planning, or leading the business side of an ERP or planning-system programme. Product businesses, ideally technology. Full-time, contract or fractional, as an independent contractor. Available now; full-time from 1 Dec 2026.

I am a supply chain and inventory leader with 17 years and 9 roles at British American Tobacco across the UK, Malaysia and Central and Eastern Europe. Most recently I was Head of Supply Chain for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary: the end-to-end secondary supply chain for 3 markets, with a team of 20, 500+ active SKUs and 3PL warehousing.

What I have delivered:

- £9.7m financial contribution in 2025, including c. £6.1m of working capital released and £2.8m of cost avoided through phase-in / phase-out and inventory disposition.

- Forecast Fulfilment Rate from 40% to over 95% while stock cover fell from 4 months to 2.5, across 800+ SKUs in BAT's global duty-free channel.

- 3PL cost down 30% on a £1.8m annual contract through a market benchmark.

- 5 full-time positions of manual work automated in 2026 with MS Fabric, Power Automate and generative AI (c. £280k a year).

- Master-data framework for 48 markets and 8 factories on BAT's group SAP APO programme; 9 markets and 6 factories moved onto one standard planning process.

- Supply chain built for a new electronic consumer device category, launched into 5 markets with Asia-based contract manufacturers.

I also spent 4 years in Global Internal Audit: 19 audits across 14 countries on 4 continents, with final reports to BAT's Group Management Board. Stock counts were the most frequent theme of my audit memos, and my findings changed BAT's global spare parts standard.

I am used to working across time zones and geographies, from markets across Africa, the Middle East and Asia to contract manufacturers in Asia and duty-free customers worldwide. I have worked remotely since 2020, including audits run remotely during COVID and leading my Czech, Slovak and Hungarian team from Kuala Lumpur, 6-7 hours ahead. From November 2026 I am based in Buenos Aires (UTC-3) and set my working hours around the team, wherever it is.

I build with AI myself, including a multi-agent AI system of my own design with Claude and Grok agents. The work I enjoy most is inventory, planning and master data, where automation makes the right step the quickest one, in technology, hardware, e-commerce and consumer businesses.

English (bilingual) and Russian (native). British citizen.
