Vic Chamness
@vicchamness
AI & instructional technology director who leads digital learning and responsible AI integration for student impact.
What I'm looking for
I’m a strategic education and instructional technology leader with 25+ years across K-12 and higher education, focused on digital learning, professional development, and responsible AI integration. I bring a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences while keeping instructional outcomes front and center.
In my current role as Director of AI & Instructional Technology at EVSC, I set district vision and strategy for AI and instructional technology across a large K-12 system. I advise senior leadership on implementation and instructional impact, and I lead cross-functional initiatives connecting curriculum, IT, and data systems for scalable, customer-centered service delivery.
Previously, as Educational Technology Coordinator / Campus Instructional Technologist at Ivy Tech Community College, I supported online learning infrastructure and LMS training for faculty and staff. I delivered training, promoted student engagement through multimedia and digital learning strategies, and provided responsive issue support through ServiceNow.
Earlier in my career, I directed education-technology and curriculum work at EVSC, including districtwide curriculum design and LMS adoption from planning through use, while supervising major technology conferences for 800+ attendees. I also led a newly formed division as Executive Director, managing a team of 10 and aligning projects to measurable student and employer outcomes.
