What I'm looking for

I'm returning to full-time engineering on a team, while continuing a small part-time commitment to Kaihle. I'm open to remote work and focused on building backend systems and AI/LLM infrastructure.

I’m a product engineer with strong backend experience and a career built around taking on unfamiliar problems, learning what I need, and building the solution.

I’ve worked across startups and larger technology companies, including Udemy and Invitae. At Udemy, I built a real-time Promotions Platform that drove a 2x revenue increase in its first month, and later built an A/B testing platform supporting 200+ concurrent experiments across product and data science teams.

More recently, I’ve focused heavily on AI engineering. I’m currently building Kaihle, an AI-powered learning platform, where I’ve worked end-to-end across Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, LLM orchestration, RAG, vector search, adaptive assessment, and self-hosted open-source models. I’ve also built an agentic coding workflow that gives AI agents structured context about a codebase and reduced my AI coding costs by more than 70%.

I’m particularly interested in AI/LLM infrastructure, agentic systems, backend architecture, developer tools, and products where AI can solve real problems rather than simply being added as a feature. I enjoy working close to the product, learning new technologies quickly, and building systems that are useful, reliable, and practical.
