What I'm looking for

I'm looking to own ambitious AI and LLM products from zero to one, combining hands-on model work with scalable cloud and distributed systems. I value high-impact problems, technical ownership, and collaborative teams that build reliable production software.

I've shipped LLM-powered products end to end, from OpenAI frontier-model evaluation work on the published SWE-Lancer benchmark to AutoComply, Norebase's AI-driven regulatory compliance platform.

At Norebase, I architected vector-search and embedding pipelines across pgvector and Pinecone to automate compliance checks in 18 African jurisdictions, cutting manual review time by about 80%. I also delivered fraud detection at 91% precision and helped scale company registrations from roughly 5,000 to more than 5 million annually.

I've built high-volume payments, banking, health-tech, and developer-assessment systems at Hydrogen-Pay, Pluralsight, Function Health, Equity Bank Kenya, and RockContent. My work spans Python, FastAPI, PyTorch, C#/.NET, Azure, GCP, AWS, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.

As a founding engineer and engineering manager, I enjoy taking ambiguous zero-to-one problems into reliable production systems while helping distributed teams improve engineering quality.
