Rebuilt the search system from scratch on Turbopuffer, Redis, and RPC, powering keyword and AI search for documentation sites serving millions of page views daily. Improved search performance and relevance while reducing sustaining costs, and carried out a no-downtime live-migration of a legacy Firestore database to PlanetScale, lowering storage costs and improving query latency by ~5x.

Built dozens of event-driven custom integrations on Kafka, REST, SFTP, and webhooks to improve coordination in maritime shipping operations. Led the effort to live-migrate a legacy PostgreSQL database onto a new schema without incidents or downtime, and established monitoring, observability, and incident management systems.

Built an integration between the company's two core products, expanding features and improving user experience. Migrated a legacy PHP and CoffeeScript frontend to React, improving maintainability and developer experience, and raised automated test reliability by fixing flaky tests and tuning performance, producing ~3x faster CI cycles.

Designed, built, and maintained ground-segment software for satellite command & control, mission planning, image processing, and telemetry processing for TURKSAT-6A, IMECE, and GOKTURK-2 satellites. Developed a distributed and horizontally scalable satellite image processing system and a CPU-GPU codec for real-time decompression of high-resolution imagery, achieving a 20x speed-up.
