Emre Cakir

Owned end-to-end engineering of a multi-role penetration-testing platform as the sole software engineer, shaping product and technical direction with the founding team. Built and operated the application and deployment platform across production and preview environments, automating infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible and delivery with Docker, GitHub Actions, and CI quality gates.

Built the web application and backend foundation for a logistics quoting product, translating an initially ambiguous concept into concrete shipment and quote workflows. Designed an event-driven backend on AWS using independently deployable services and asynchronous messaging, and led technical planning and architecture in a two-engineer team.

Built features and UI components for a React/Node.js B2B support platform, including extensive MongoDB aggregation work. Introduced React Native for a mobile application rewrite and supported its adoption across the team through tooling and implementation guidance.

Built dashboards with React and Vue for telecom carrier teams, visualizing network and service analytics across multiple international deployments. Contributed to early HarmonyOS developer-enablement work, helping define React Native integration patterns and develop bridge/native packages for accessing platform services.

Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Bahçeşehir University, completed in 2018.
