What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a remote backend development or data annotation role where I can contribute immediately, work independently, and maintain high-quality delivery while growing technical skills.

I'm a backend developer with hands-on experience building REST APIs using Python, Django and Django REST Framework, and practical experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL. I containerise applications with Docker and set up CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

I have over two years of professional experience doing data annotation for AI companies, labeling text, images and audio while maintaining consistent quality and adhering to detailed guidelines. I adapted quickly when project requirements changed and provided feedback used to improve search and AI ranking systems.

Before transitioning to tech, I owned and ran a civil engineering firm for eight years, managing contracts, budgets, teams and client relationships across multiple concurrent projects. That experience taught me to manage my time, work without supervision, and take responsibility for deliverables.
