Tyler Trulson
@tylertrulson
Senior QA analyst improving game quality through test strategy, defect triage, and automation support.
What I'm looking for
I’ve spent 6+ years delivering high-quality software for AAA games and live-service teams, from requirements and test planning through release validation and production deployment.
At Velan Studios, I served as a senior Quality Assurance analyst, leading manual testing initiatives, building test plans and QA documentation for complex multiplayer systems, and mentoring junior analysts while partnering with engineering to validate fixes.
I’ve also contributed to launches and ongoing support for titles like Knockout City, Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, Injustice 2 Mobile, Middle earth: Shadow of War, and Mad Max—helping teams deliver stable releases while improving internal QA processes.
Most recently, I’ve moved into Gameplay Programmer work at an independent studio, using Unreal Engine Blueprints to design gameplay systems while applying my QA experience to identify issues early and reduce production risk.
