What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to support vulnerable populations and grow within a compassionate organization.

I am a dedicated human services professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Empire State University, set to graduate in December 2023. My journey in social services has equipped me with the skills to effectively communicate and empathize with diverse populations. I thrive on problem-solving and am eager to learn more to enhance my contributions to the community.

In my current role as a Substitute Teacher with the Elmira City School District, I monitor student progress and foster a safe learning environment. My previous experience as a Caseworker with Child Protective Services allowed me to provide essential social work services, assess risk factors, and build strong relationships with families and community resources. Additionally, my time as a Paraprofessional in the New York City Department of Education honed my ability to support special needs children and facilitate group activities.
