Assisted in forensic interviews for pediatric survivors of sexual violence through note-taking and collaboration with the forensic team. Worked with the multi-disciplinary team at the county level to raise awareness and reduce the prevalence of child sexual violence.

Engaged in an immersive child life practicum, applying child life principles to support pediatric patients and families, and participating in research efforts. Assisted certified Child Life Specialists in facilitating therapeutic play sessions, preparing children for medical procedures, and providing emotional support.

Communicated with school offices, case managers, students, and families to support classmates in academic and personal challenges. Created and assisted with office initiatives to foster a safe and welcoming environment for all served.

Collaborated with social workers and center staff to build a safe environment for immunocompromised children. Planned summer day camps through developmentally appropriate play for children and families to support social emotional healing.

Partnered with research partners to develop an accessible research ethics training alternative for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Researched and implemented effective learning techniques for community researchers with disabilities.

Directed and engaged with Syracuse University professors to teach required course material for all first-year students. Facilitated the creation and interpellation of a curriculum surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

Currently pursuing a Master of Child Life and Family Centered Care. This program is focused on preparing for certification as a Child Life Specialist, emphasizing family-centered approaches in healthcare settings.
