Trey Chellah

I’m a Software Developer Intern focused on building practical software that helps teams and the public access information faster. Through my work at the National Assembly of Zambia, I’ve combined AI features with reliable backend integrations to support real parliamentary workflows.

I developed an AI-powered parliamentary chatbot integrating 3+ parliamentary information sources to improve information retrieval. I also engineered an automated audio transcription system for proceedings, and built the Preparing for Parliament (PFP) platform to streamline preparation workflows.

I care about end-to-end delivery—connecting frontend, backend services, and databases through REST APIs and authentication. I also designed and implemented an Incident Reporting System for operational issue tracking and developed an applicant shortlisting portal supporting recruitment from application review through candidate selection.

Across projects and internships, I’ve built multilingual web and mobile application features, reusable frontend components, dashboards, and reporting tools. I enjoy software architecture, system design, AI integration, and performance optimization, and I’m actively expanding my toolkit with Git-based version control, Linux, Postman, and Docker (Learning).
