I’m looking to step into a finance or credit control management role where I can lead credit functions, stabilise aged debt, and protect cash flow—using structured processes, calm judgement, and strong stakeholder alignment to improve recovery outcomes.

I am a highly experienced finance and credit control professional with 25+ years of experience, leading credit functions and restoring ledger health across manufacturing, construction, education, public sector, and retail environments. I’ve held sole and senior responsibility for large, complex ledgers, frequently brought in to stabilise aged debt and improve recovery outcomes under tight timeframes.

I manage credit risk end-to-end, including setting account terms, approving order release, and overseeing escalation through to litigation and insurer involvement. I combine proactive debt recovery with clear reporting—monitoring aged debt and DSO, producing aged debt reports and cash flow forecasts, and resolving invoice and payment queries promptly.

I’m equally focused on structured execution and leadership. I negotiate payment plans, engage senior stakeholders, and align credit terms and billing processes with Finance Directors, sales teams, depot managers, regional directors, and operational partners—while supporting junior staff through calm judgement and governance-led processes.

I’m well-positioned to step into a finance or credit control management role, bringing firsthand delivery with strong process improvement and control. From owning over 600 live accounts with a debt book exceeding £2m to handling portfolios above £2m, £5m, and £10m using platforms like Sage, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and Microsoft 365 ERP tools, I consistently drive reductions in overdue and historic debt and protect cash flow.
