@thomasmcewen
Environment and 3D prop artist specializing in game-ready assets, rigging, and lighting.
What I'm looking for
I am a creative and motivated environment and 3D prop artist with formal training in animation and game development from Loyalist College. I build game-ready environments and assets, focusing on realistic lighting, UV mapping, and efficient texturing workflows.
I have shipped work on indie and VR titles and contributed rigging and asset creation for game updates, including a legged antagonist rig for a VR release. I also design interactive levels and coded gameplay elements for a UE4 catapult game project.
My technical toolkit includes ZBrush, Maya, Blender, Substance Painter & Designer, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, and Shotgun, and I work comfortably on Windows 10. I consistently apply attention to detail, time management, and collaborative problem-solving to my projects.
I am seeking opportunities in the gaming industry to broaden my horizons, sharpen my craft, and contribute high-quality environment and prop work to a collaborative team.
