At the University of Johannesburg, I’m a Postdoctoral Fellow researching multi-mycotoxin exposure in HIV and hepatitis B patients in South Africa, from patients’ food to urine. I’m also investigating green nanoparticles made from African plants and their therapeutic applications.
My research has included developing a neuropathic pain screening tool in isiZulu and studying medicinal plants, food safety, and clinical physiology. I’ve published on these areas, including research on aflatoxin exposure and green approaches to aflatoxin management.
