What I'm looking for

I seek a research-active academic role combining teaching and supervision, access to instrumentation, collaborative projects, and opportunities to mentor students and publish impactful chemistry research.

I am an inorganic chemist and university lecturer with extensive experience in research, teaching, and mentorship across Nigeria and South Africa. My work spans inorganic and bioinorganic synthesis, characterization, and studies of antibacterial and anticancer activities.

I have completed doctoral and postdoctoral research in inorganic chemistry and contributed to projects on metal complexes, dithiocarbamates, and nanomaterials, producing multiple peer-reviewed publications in accredited journals. I have supervised and co-supervised postgraduate research and participated in numerous international conferences and schools.

My academic practice emphasizes practical laboratory skills, instrumentation (FTIR, TGA, UV-Vis), and pedagogical innovation, including using infographics to enhance chemistry learning at the undergraduate level. I have held teaching and lecturing roles from secondary to honours level and provided voluntary mentoring and tutoring.

I contribute to the scholarly community through editorial roles, service on professional bodies, and laboratory management. I seek to advance research and teaching in chemistry while supporting student development and collaborative, interdisciplinary projects.
