At University of Pretoria – Innovation Africa @UP, I managed agricultural facilities and operations spanning field trials, horticultural units, controlled-environment facilities, livestock units and farm infrastructure.
I coordinated agricultural activities with researchers, lecturers, students and operational teams, and monitored remote soil and temperature sensors to support agricultural and environmental monitoring. I also supervised 53 staff members, including six direct reports, and coordinated training, performance management and operational planning.
At University of Pretoria – Plant and Soil Sciences, I supported agricultural research projects and field trials. I assisted with trial planning, planting, crop maintenance and data collection, and supported students and research teams with practical crop-production activities and technical guidance.
At Agricultural Research Council – Plant Breeding Division, I provided technical support to the sweet potato breeding team. I managed glasshouses and disease-tested planting material, supported variety-related marketing and client queries, and contributed to sweet potato flour product development. My work is grounded in an MTech Agriculture (Crop Production) and experience across crop production research, plant breeding and grower engagement.
