Tekucala shongwe

I am an Information Science graduate from the University of Eswatini with hands-on internship experience in IT support, network administration, and digital archiving. I specialize in information systems, network fundamentals, database management, and programming basics in Python, C++, and Java.

During internships at Eswatini Water Services Corporation and the Eswatini National Trust Commission, I supported LAN/WAN operations, help-desk services, device configuration, and the digitization and metadata management of cultural collections. I contributed to network simulations with Cisco Packet Tracer and assisted in developing a front-end interface for a Service Level Agreement tool using HTML/CSS.

I have led student projects as Project Manager for the Information Science Society, organizing workshops and campus seminars while developing stakeholder coordination and leadership skills. I hold a Python Essentials 1 certification from the Cisco Networking Academy and practical experience with SQL, network device configuration, and digital archiving workflows.

I am collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in data analytics and cybersecurity roles where I can apply my technical foundation to drive data-driven decisions and contribute to an organization's digital transformation.
