At Whirly Labs, I extend Joern’s PHP and Ruby language support in Scala, build call graph generation for vulnerability reachability assessments, and improve Ruby frontend test runtimes.

Before that, I led Takealot’s three-year redesign of the MrD Food on-demand delivery system. I also built division-wide integration testing and architecture-diagram automation initiatives, modernized PHP monolith functionality into Scala microservices, and led cross-team legacy-flow deprecation work.

I’ve mentored engineers, led incidents and agile ceremonies, and earned Takealot Engineering Quarterly Excellence Awards in 2023 and 2024. Earlier at Capitec Bank, I developed and supported customer-facing .NET web applications and improved monitoring architecture, logging, and SQL data quality.
