What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build scalable backend and distributed systems where I can lead technical delivery, modernise platforms, strengthen engineering standards, mentor teams, and grow my work in AI-assisted software engineering and quality evaluation.

I've led cloud-ready microservices for payments, collections, statements and wallet disbursements at Absa Bank, using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, IBM MQ and RabbitMQ in high-volume banking environments.

I’ve modernised legacy banking systems at African Bank and built secure, high-availability digital banking services at Absa. My work spans enterprise integration, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, technical standards and reliable backend delivery.

I also lead and mentor engineering teams, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and bring MBA-level focus on strategic leadership, business performance and technology alignment. I’m developing expertise in AI-assisted software engineering, LLMs, coding-agent evaluation, systematic testing and failure analysis.
