What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a safety-first child and youth program role where I can lead engaging activities, enforce regulations, and reduce risk. I want a high-tempo team that values conscious discipline, clear communication, and continuous improvement.

I’m a Child and Youth Program Leader and Military Veteran with 2+ years of Child Development experience, grounded in strict adherence to child and youth program regulations, laws, and policies. I’m accountable for the safety of children ranging from infant to school aged, especially when situations are high pressure and time-sensitive.

In my child development role, I executed program activities built to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. I designed daily plans and set goals, prepared and maintained records of children’s progress, identified educational needs, and instructed other Program Assistants on regulatory methods and procedures to ensure consistent, compliant care.

I’m known for proactive risk mitigation and practical safety leadership—managing non-routine and emergency situations while keeping staff and participants protected. I also use conscious discipline, model appropriate behavior, and support effective communication and team supervision to develop engaging program activities in a positive environment.

Beyond childcare, I bring strong operational and service capabilities from my United States Marine Corps Human Resources Administrative Assistant experience, where I supported 50+ employees, managed budgets for contracts/equipment/supplies, and maintained personnel record quality through audits and inspections. I also completed a Medical Assistant Externship, strengthening my patient-facing accuracy with electronic records (including NexGen), charting, and clinical support such as vitals, EKGs, injections, urinalysis testing, and triage.
