Swati Kouthankar

I've completed a Custom Layout Design internship at VLSIMINDS, a division of S2C Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd., where I worked through the CMOS custom layout design flow in Cadence Virtuoso.

I designed digital-circuit schematics and layouts, performed DRC and LVS verification, and developed practical knowledge of 45 nm CMOS technology, layout techniques, and VLSI custom layout methodologies. I also designed a transmission-gate D Flip-Flop at transistor level, verified its timing through transient simulation, and completed CMOS layout validation.

My projects connect electronics with real-world impact: I built a smart glove that translates hand gestures into voice output for speech- and hearing-impaired people.

I've also developed a CNN-based multi-class image classification system and a quantum-secured IoT healthcare device using ESP32, an ECG sensor, TinyML, cloud connectivity, and post-quantum cryptography for real-time arrhythmia monitoring. I'm eager to apply my engineering skills in hands-on, team-oriented environments.
