What I'm looking for

I seek NLP/ML roles that apply linguistic knowledge to build and evaluate LLMs and translation systems, with opportunities for research impact and collaborative, rigorous development.

I am a computational linguist with hands-on experience in machine learning and natural language processing, focused on sentiment analysis, information retrieval, language acquisition, and machine translation. I am proficient in Python and the modern ML/NLP stack, including NumPy, HuggingFace, PyTorch, and pandas, and I have practical experience fine-tuning LSTM and Transformer architectures and evaluating large language models.

I combine academic training in language technology with practical project and organizational experience, having worked as a teaching assistant and in coordinated roles for youth and NGO projects. I prioritize rigorous evaluation, reproducible training workflows, and applying linguistic theory (syntax, semantics) to ML problems to build robust, interpretable NLP systems.
