Monitored and maintained machine learning models in production through testing and re-training to enhance the linguistic comprehension and responses of a virtual assistant. Assisted manager in planning weekly meetings, communicating business-related announcements to the team, and documenting meeting outcomes.

Analyzed and annotated large linguistic datasets to identify and address problematic patterns, ensuring the data is linguistically rich for diverse ML model training. Contributed to documenting analysis and annotation guidelines for future reference.

Served as an international volunteer in Austria, working at an inclusive school with children and teenagers with disabilities. Assisted them with their daily activities both in-school and outdoors, accompanied them on school-organized excursions, and supported them with their homework and learning activities.

Studied English Language Teaching with a curriculum encompassing linguistics, pedagogy, learning psychology, basic counseling, and teaching techniques. Additionally, pursued a minor degree in Psychology, taking courses in developmental, social, and industrial-organizational psychology, along with foundational psychological theories.

My master’s degree included courses in computational semantics, natural language processing, and corpus linguistics. My master’s thesis focused on using different large language models and NMT tools to compare their capability in mitigating gender bias in machine translation of gender-neutral text through contextual understanding.
