What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a robotics role where I can combine mechanical design with simulation and hands-on experimentation—building systems end-to-end, using SLAM/computer vision where useful, and growing through research-driven iteration and clear technical ownership.

I’m a Robotics-focused engineer completing an MEng in Design Engineering at Imperial College London, where my work centers on practical, measurable performance—recently exploring “A Generative Approach to Flapping Wing Aerial Vehicle Wing Design Using Dragonfly Wing Data.” I enjoy turning research concepts into build-ready systems and validating them through experiments.

In my current role as a “Robotics Research Engineer” at Yarbo, I independently developed an Experiment Assistant App with a novel “Marker” function to reduce post-experiment analysis labour, and I investigated root causes of wet-snow clogging in the snow blower module. At Hong Kong Polytechnic University, I designed and manufactured a foldable AGV robot, using 3D printing and external collaboration, and I ran FEA to validate structural designs.

I’ve led mechanical, simulation, and experimental work as a Robotics Engineer in the Imperial Flapping Wing Micro Aerial Vehicle Society, optimizing the flapping wing mechanism and co-authoring a paper accepted at IMAV 2024. I also strengthened my robotics foundation through a SLAM internship at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ROS/C++ and 2D SLAM in Webots) and delivered sim-to-real work during my robotics placement with RoboDK to a UR robotic arm.
