In my current role, I independently configure CER claim edits, billing indicators, and DNB flags to optimize mid-revenue cycle efficiency and support clean claim submission. I’ve also built payer-specific automation for Medi-Cal and Partnership payers to auto-populate supervision requirements based on CPT codes, reducing manual entry and claim submission errors.

I’m strong at resolving complex claim edits by analyzing CER rules, claim workflow, and payer requirements—whether it’s fixing “Invalid Subscriber ID” edits through plan-specific exclusions or mapping CARC/RARC codes to ensure payer-specific adjustment handling across service areas. I also drive end-to-end validation for new builds and upgrades to confirm claim output, edit resolution, and 835 remittance processing meet payer and revenue integrity expectations.

Cross-functionally, I partner with Patient Access, HIM, and Revenue Integrity to resolve front-end registration edits, coding-related DNB flags, and CER-triggered holds—supporting accurate, compliant, and scalable mid-revenue cycle outcomes. I document configuration-related billing staff support through ServiceNow and author clear ServiceNow documentation to promote transparency, knowledge transfer, and consistent build practices.
