At the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, I lead viral target optimization, panel validation, and limit-of-detection studies for respiratory pathogens on high-throughput PCR platforms. I finalized PanRV validation, advanced PIV testing into a 5-plex assay, and completed analytical sensitivity studies down to 1 copy per reaction.

I build practical laboratory systems alongside diagnostic workflows. I designed and deployed a relational freezer inventory management system for cold-chain traceability, authored preventative-maintenance SOPs, and support CLIA, CDC Biosafety, and QMS compliance.

Previously, I helped advance more than 30 laboratories in real-time PCR validation, personnel training, and equipment standards. I also supported high-throughput COVID-19 operations processing 2,000+ weekly samples while maintaining CAP, COLA, and CLIA quality requirements.

My research background includes cancer therapeutic development using cell culture, qRT-PCR, Western blotting, and flow cytometry. I've improved automation turnaround by over 50%, reduced microbial-analysis costs through vendor negotiations, and presented complex scientific findings to academic and senior-leadership audiences.
