What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level electrical design role where I can produce accurate Revit/AutoCAD drawings, follow industry codes, support contract documentation, and contribute to efficient, cost-effective upgrades in a safety-first team.

I’m an entry-level electrical designer studying at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan), where I’m building a strong foundation in electrical engineering and practical design workflows. I’m drawn to roles that connect technical accuracy with clear communication and measurable project outcomes.

At Trigon Pacific Terminals, I supported health, safety, and environmental programs to help ensure safe daily operations. I also prepared, reviewed, and updated electrical drawings and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD, while assisting with electrical system designs for equipment and facility upgrades.

As a Junior Electrical Designer at Smith + Andersen, I designed electrical systems in Revit and AutoCAD, including equipment room layouts, distribution systems, and load sizing. I developed drawings and specifications aligned with project requirements and industry standards, and I gained experience with codes and standards such as CEC, IES, ASHRAE, and LEED.

Outside of engineering, I’ve built strong customer- and team-facing skills through roles in sales and guest services. That experience helps me stay organized, detail-oriented, and responsive—especially when preparing contract administration documents like shop drawing reviews and site instructions.
