What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can support evidence-based disease prevention and health promotion, apply patient-education skills, and contribute to community outreach that improves healthcare access.

I’m a Public Health rising senior at Virginia Tech with hands-on clinical experience in urgent care, inpatient hospital settings, and patient education. I’m motivated by disease prevention, health promotion, and improving healthcare access through community outreach and evidence-based public health initiatives.

As a Medical Office Technician in Urgent Care at Carilion Clinic, I support efficient patient flow through vitals, medical history updates, screenings, and post-visit documentation. In parallel, I’ve worked as a Patient Safety Attendant at Lewisgale Hospital Montgomery, monitoring high-risk patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during rounds, and shadowing surgical and anesthesia workflows in the OR.

I bring strong communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and healthcare operations skills rooted in direct patient-centered work. With certifications including Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, BLS, CPR, and crisis prevention training, I’m ready to contribute to public health efforts that translate care into measurable prevention and better outcomes.
