Healthcare-focused medical assistant student delivering patient education and safe, accurate health screenings with strong communication.
What I'm looking for
I’m a healthcare-focused student building hands-on clinical readiness through patient education, health screenings, and laboratory coursework. I take pride in a patient-centered approach to supporting clinical care, backed by strong communication and teamwork.
As a Heart 4 Homeless volunteer, I conducted screenings including blood pressure, EKG, visual acuity, and hearing checks. I also collaborated with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols and supported staff during community outreach events.
Alongside my screening experience, I’ve supported learning and prevention through patient education on health, wellness, and prevention practices. I’m HIPAA-aware and focused on safety compliance while staying organized and responsive in fast-moving settings.
Academically, I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Central Florida and have studied Human Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Healthcare Ethics, and nutrition-related coursework. I’m also working toward my Medical Assistant Certification (in progress), and I’m eager to continue growing as a trusted, proactive member of a care team.
