@somsirsachatterjee
I build ethical AI and brain-signal solutions for accessible mental healthcare.
What I'm looking for
I lead the Chatterjee Foundation, delivering accessible and affordable mental health services to children and youth in need.
Previously, I led image-processing modules for iCheck, supporting computer-assisted retinal abnormality detection, and RiView, supporting tuberculosis detection from digital chest X-rays. I built deep-learning frameworks using C++, OpenCV, Python, and MATLAB while publishing research and mentoring new employees.
Across teaching, research, and data science roles at Chandigarh University, HopingMinds, and Guru Jambheshwar University, I’ve trained learners, developed assessment approaches, and supported AI projects. I bring over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience, 200+ publication citations, and a commitment to humane, inclusive, ethical healthcare innovation.
