Sinjini Sinharoy
@sinjinisinharoy
Biotechnology graduate specializing in molecular biology with hands-on research experience and a passion for biomedical innovation.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Biotechnology graduate with a strong foundation in molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, and biochemical techniques. I bring teamwork, leadership, and project management strengths, and I’m motivated by a results-driven approach to support innovative research and development.
In my research intern role at NirvaanaTechnologies, I investigated the TP53 tumor suppressor gene and its mutations in relation to breast cancer pathogenesis and disease progression. I also performed in silico analysis to compare nucleotide sequences between normal and mutated TP53 variants, gaining insight into how TP53 mutation status can influence therapeutic strategies and outcomes. I have also done a project on cancer and a flavonoid where I built my computational research skills through a molecular docking and computational analysis targeting MAPK and apoptosis pathways, including ADME profiling, protein–ligand interaction analysis, and molecular dynamics.
Experience
Work history, roles, and key accomplishments
Molecular Docking & ADME Study
Manipal Academy of Higher Education
Feb 2026 - Jun 2026 (4 months)
Conducted a computational study of Oroxylin A as a potential anticancer agent by targeting MAPK and apoptosis pathway proteins. Performed ADME profiling, molecular docking, energy minimization, protein–ligand interaction analysis, and molecular dynamics to assess drug-likeness, binding affinity, and complex stability.
Research Intern
Nirvaana Technologies
Jul 2025 - Aug 2025 (1 month)
Investigated TP53 tumor suppressor gene mutations in relation to breast cancer pathogenesis and disease progression. Performed in silico nucleotide sequence analysis and compared normal vs. mutated TP53 variants to inform therapeutic strategies and outcomes.
