At the Structural Biology and Protein Engineering Laboratory, Department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, IIT Kharagpur, I worked on a project titled “Disulfide Engineering to Increase Protein Stability.” I analyzed engineered protein variants using PyMOL and Protein Data Bank resources, and assessed DNA-binding activity with electrophoretic mobility shift assays.
For an ovarian cancer project, I analyzed transcriptomic data to develop a non-invasive mRNA-based diagnostic marker panel, identifying 13 significant biomarkers. My other research experience includes investigating temperature stress in Neem using protein extraction, the Bradford assay, and SDS-PAGE.
