What I'm looking for

I seek a role in AI and NLP where I can apply my research and development skills to solve real-world problems. I value innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration in diverse, inclusive environments. My goal is to contribute to projects that blend technical expertise with societal impact.

As an M.S. student in Technology Innovation at the University of Washington, specializing in Computer Science, my journey has been marked by a deep engagement with technology and its potential for societal impact. I also hold a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT Delhi, where I undertook significant research and thesis work.

In my role as Lead Software Engineer in the UnBiased Research Project at UW and UCSD, I developed a Flask-based web application to enhance patient-doctor communication, leveraging skills in HTML/CSS, Python, and AWS. This project not only honed my technical abilities but also reinforced my commitment to using technology for social benefit.

I collaborated with the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, analyzing over 7 million tweets to study the gender communication gap on social networks. This work, emphasizing natural language processing and data mining, is set for publication.

I'm particularly proud of the SRoomi project, an IoT-based fall detection system for the elderly, which was recognized at the IEEE GHTC 2023 Conference. This project combined technology with daily life objects in innovative ways.

I am also a co-founder of the Women in Tech Club at IIIT Delhi, reflecting my dedication to promoting diversity in tech. My work has been recognized with accolades such as a fully funded invitation to Google I/O 2023 and first place in the Amazon HackSea Hackathon 2022. I am passionate about using my expertise in AI, NLP, and data science to create impactful technology solutions.
