Shuai Ke

I'm conducting preclinical neuroscience research at the University of Helsinki, focused on neuroprotective drug research for neurodegenerative diseases.

I design and execute cell and animal experiments, interpret results, troubleshoot research challenges, and analyze biomedical datasets using R, Python, and statistical methods. My work also includes scientific literature evaluation and scientific writing.

Before my doctoral research, I worked as a neurosurgeon at Dongfeng General Hospital, performing and assisting in neurosurgical procedures with a focus on functional neurosurgery. I evaluated neurological patients and contributed to diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.

My clinical and research background spans neurosurgery, neurodegenerative disease research, bioinformatics, cell culture, animal models, qPCR, Western Blot, immunofluorescence, and IHC.
