@mikaelli
Early-career pure mathematics researcher in commutative algebra, focused on ring theory, modules, and homological methods.
What I'm looking for
I’m an early-career researcher in pure mathematics specializing in commutative algebra. I hold an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Eastern Finland, with a strong foundation in algebraic structures, ideal theory, and homological methods.
My work centers on the structure of Noetherian rings and ideal decomposition. In my master’s thesis research (2023–2024), I studied properties of Noetherian and Artinian rings and investigated primary decomposition of ideals, using homological tools to analyze module structures.
I also enjoy communicating mathematics through seminars and academic writing. I presented results in a departmental seminar and participated in student and local mathematical seminars, strengthening both my research clarity and academic presence.
Alongside research, I have teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate mathematics (2023–2024). I assisted with introductory algebra and calculus courses, led exercise sessions, and graded coursework—an experience that sharpened how I explain concepts and support learners.
